With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jan Wennerberg in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Angel Xacintu saved Carhue from getting behind. John Bratt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Angel Xacintu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Angel Xacintu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from John Bratt in the 16th minute of play. With a little luck, Kattvik kings's Alvar Arvidsson got control of the ball when Petre Zărnescu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Moreno Torricelli could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Alvar Arvidsson made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Xu Wei got free with Alvar Arvidsson in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice moves Xu Wei could shoot a difficult shot in the 25th minute, which Alvar Arvidsson however easily saved by the left post. Xu Wei could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Alvar Arvidsson made a huge save. In the 27thth minute of the game John Bratt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Carhue's Angel Xacintu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Carhue's goal looked a bit too open when Jürgen Trittin came free, but Angel Xacintu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Jürgen Trittin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alvar Arvidsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brent-Jan Kindermans, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. The corner led Kattvik kings's Şenel Zeval to fire away a dangerous shot which Angel Xacintu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Petre Zărnescu kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by John Bratt in the 44th minute of play forced Carhue's goalkeeper Angel Xacintu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 44 minutes into the game, Kattvik kings's John Bratt nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Angel Xacintu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Carhue made a substitution. Charles De Ketelaere replaced Leon Kaxen. After the first half Kattvik kings were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell John Bratt to make the kick off. Angel Xacintu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Şenel Zeval, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brent-Jan Kindermans in the 55th minute of play forced Kattvik kings's goalkeeper Alvar Arvidsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 64 minutes into the match, Carhue's goal looked a bit too open when Jürgen Trittin came free, but Angel Xacintu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 75th minute by John Bratt got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. With a little luck, Carhue's Angel Xacintu got control of the ball when Long Zhan Quan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Justo Egoitz might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alvar Arvidsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Justo Egoitz ran back to his position shaking his head. Dé Čáp kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Kattvik kings eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
