The corner ended in Heitor Quental almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Velez sarsfield's Narciso Frechoso did a great save. Narciso Frechoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dendi Ishutin, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Velez sarsfield's goal looked a bit too open when Dendi Ishutin came free, but Narciso Frechoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dendi Ishutin made a kick off. Joaquín Lillo charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joaquín Lillo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alejo Larra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabio Regis took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Blas Colas. Narciso Frechoso was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Blas Colas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walter Pico in the 72nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guido Dalmai in the 74th minute of play forced Vł₦ɆłⱤØ ₣₵'s goalkeeper Blas Colas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 78 minutes into the match, Velez sarsfield's goalkeeper Narciso Frechoso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Baldomero Perrando. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walter Pico in the 80th minute of play forced Vł₦ɆłⱤØ ₣₵'s goalkeeper Blas Colas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guido Dalmai scored 2-1 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Blas Colas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
