Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Florentino Lauro got the match started through his kick off. When Ceferino Oliverios fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guayamba AFC's protests and gave Ceferino Oliverios a yellow card for diving instead. Ceferino Oliverios kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Lyon's Cristoforo Di Loreto shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 9th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Julio Odilon but with some difficulty. Baltasar Elija received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Jâninho Potiguar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Florentino Lauro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jâninho Potiguar having to make a save. Florentino Lauro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jâninho Potiguar having to interfere. In the 29th minute of the match Lyon got a corner. Guayamba AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cristoforo Di Loreto ran over to the corner to take the kick. Jean-Marc Coquerel was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Baltasar Elija received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Jâninho Potiguar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Florentino Lauro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Lyon booed when Guayamba AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pastor Beremundo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 46 minutes into the match, Guayamba AFC's goalkeeper Julio Odilon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jean-Marc Coquerel. Jâninho Potiguar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florentino Lauro in the 48th minute of the match.

The wind increased when Fabiano Borel made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Lyon booed when Guayamba AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arsenio Gustau didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julio Odilon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristoforo Di Loreto, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Virgilio Orland's late challenge caught a Lyon's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Virgilio Orland helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Guayamba AFC booed when Lyon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonas Botte didn't get a good kick on the ball. Florentino Savier hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Julio Odilon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jean-Marc Coquerel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 68 played minutes Lyon got a freekick which was hit by Yohann Teyssedre. The Lyon fans' excitement grew in the 73rd match minute when Lyon's Jean-Marc Coquerel looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 76th minute Jean-Marc Coquerel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Odilon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Odilon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jean-Marc Coquerel in the 78th minute of play. Arsenio Gustau charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arsenio Gustau the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 79th match minute, Guayamba AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arsenio Gustau to maneuver through the defense. Julio Odilon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabiano Borel in the 80th minute of play. The supporters of Guayamba AFC booed when Lyon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dove Deligne didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Lyon players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
