The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience was convinced that Usain Bolt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jâninho Potiguar was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. When Mapovihesa FC's Usain Bolt in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lyon's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Mapovihesa FC's Kálmán Pádár got a free kick in the 12th minute. Usain Bolt took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jâninho Potiguar. Jâninho Potiguar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. After a rather tough play, Mapovihesa FC's Usain Bolt got a free kick in the 16th minute. Jâninho Potiguar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Usain Bolt, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Lyon's Jâninho Potiguar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Usain Bolt in the 21st minute of play. In the 23rd minute Mapovihesa FC were awarded a corner. Kálmán Pádár went to the cornerflag to take it. Rafael Figueroa was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Usain Bolt in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jâninho Potiguar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mapovihesa FC were awarded a corner in the 30th minute after Lyon's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Kálmán Pádár took the corner. A well done corner resulted in Celedonio Harri drilling the ball in to score 0-4 behind Lyon's goalkeeper. Usain Bolt took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jâninho Potiguar. Jâninho Potiguar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lyon's goalkeeper Jâninho Potiguar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jâninho Potiguar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Usain Bolt in the 46th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Usain Bolt stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Mapovihesa FC booed when Lyon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dove Deligne didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jâninho Potiguar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Usain Bolt in the 51st minute of play. Usain Bolt scored 0-6 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jâninho Potiguar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mapovihesa FC made a substitution. Ali Nejat Özsungur replaced Usain Bolt. Mapovihesa FC made a substitution. Raimundo Erramu replaced Álvaro Prata. After a defensive mix-up in Lyon's zone, Ali Nejat Özsungur stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jâninho Potiguar came out of the goal and Ali Nejat Özsungur tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cristoforo Di Loreto kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. If Ali Nejat Özsungur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ali Nejat Özsungur in the 77thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jâninho Potiguar, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With a little luck, Lyon's Jâninho Potiguar got control of the ball when Ali Nejat Özsungur tried to sneak it across the goal line. 78 minutes in the game, Ali Nejat Özsungur dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. In the 81st match minute, Mapovihesa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kálmán Pádár to maneuver through the defense. Adil Gabet kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lyon's goalkeeper Jâninho Potiguar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jâninho Potiguar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ali Nejat Özsungur in the 85th minute of the match. Ali Nejat Özsungur might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jâninho Potiguar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ali Nejat Özsungur ran back to his position shaking his head. Jerzy Wojno hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. A collision led to Mapovihesa FC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Facundo Gay hit a great ball. When the match was over Mapovihesa FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Lyon throughout the match.
