Spectators: 38 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dick Bergqvist started the match with the kick off. Jarl Andreasson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stefan Bogren in the 7th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Lidköping's Stefan Bogren slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jarl Andreasson. That made the score 1-0 after 9 minutes of play. 12 minutes into the match, Lidköping's goal looked a bit too open when Erik Odin came free, but Kristoffer Västerstrand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dariusz Puchlik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. AIF's Jarl Andreasson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dick Bergqvist in the 21st minute of play. Anthony Eadie hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. 29 minutes into the match, Stefan Bogren notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of AIF's Jarl Andreasson. Jarl Andreasson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jarl Andreasson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anthony Eadie in the 32nd minute. Jarl Andreasson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dariusz Puchlik in the 36th minute of the match. If Stefan Bogren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With an all-out effort, Lidköping's Jarl Andreasson threw himself towards the right post 38 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Stefan Bogren, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Jarl Andreasson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dick Bergqvist went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Anthony Eadie could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Jarl Andreasson made a huge save. If Stefan Bogren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Erik Odin to make the kick off. Stefan Bogren blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jarl Andreasson having to make a save. In the 55th minute Dick Bergqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jarl Andreasson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Casper Klint charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Casper Klint the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 60 played minutes AIF got a freekick which was hit by Casper Klint. After some careless play in the AIF defense, Stefan Bogren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jarl Andreasson. The AIF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jarl Andreasson should have stopped the shot. Jarl Andreasson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dick Bergqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stefan Bogren might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jarl Andreasson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Stefan Bogren ran back to his position shaking his head. Jarl Andreasson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stefan Bogren, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Jarl Andreasson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stefan Bogren in the 69th minute of the match. 74 minutes into the match, AIF's goal looked a bit too open when Anthony Eadie came free, but Jarl Andreasson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stefan Bogren took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jarl Andreasson. Jarl Andreasson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. 80 minutes into the match, Lidköping's goal looked a bit too open when Erik Odin came free, but Kristoffer Västerstrand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. AIF's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Bianco Tacco in the 82nd minute. AIF's Bianco Tacco was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Kristoffer Västerstrand in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After some careless play in the AIF defense, Stefan Bogren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jarl Andreasson. The AIF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jarl Andreasson should have stopped the shot. In the 89th minute, Stefan Bogren left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lidköping fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. If Stefan Bogren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
