If Richard Rodrigues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Through an outstanding action, after 6 minutes, Jarl Andreasson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Morten Langørgen got free with Jarl Andreasson in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Richard Rodrigues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 9th minute Richard Rodrigues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jarl Andreasson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jarl Andreasson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Richard Rodrigues, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Richard Rodrigues in the 15th minute of play forced AIF's goalkeeper Jarl Andreasson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute, Richard Rodrigues ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jarl Andreasson was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Morten Langørgens short, quick shot in the 25thth minute got Jarl Andreasson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A nice corner shot did that Franc Debuire got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jarl Andreasson quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a rather tough play, Osmanlı İmparatorluğu's Emrah Öztay got a free kick in the 30th minute. When Oskar Jakobsson came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the AIF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oskar Jakobsson couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Osmanlı İmparatorluğu booed when AIF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven-Edvin Mogren didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Casper Klint fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AIF's protests and gave Casper Klint a yellow card for diving instead. In the 33rd minute, one of AIF:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for AIF. Jarl Andreasson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Richard Rodrigues in the 38th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Richard Rodrigues in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jarl Andreasson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jarl Andreasson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Richard Rodrigues, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th minute, Richard Rodrigues got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Morten Langørgen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Jarl Andreasson made a huge save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Erik Odin to make the kick off. Richard Rodrigues recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 57th minute, Richard Rodrigues made a precise shot to the right of Jarl Andreasson. AIF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Jarl Andreasson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Richard Rodrigues, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. In the 76th minute, İrfan Altıncığlu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jarl Andreasson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Morten Langørgen in the 81st minute of the match. 89 minutes into the match, AIF's goal looked a bit too open when İrfan Altıncığlu came free, but Jarl Andreasson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Osmanlı İmparatorluğu's İrfan Altıncığlu in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When the referee ended the match the Osmanlı İmparatorluğu players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
