The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Wildermuth AFC's Domingo Hartz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Wildermuth AFC from getting a goal against them. 7 minutes into the match, Plátanos's goal looked a bit too open when Florencio Xabat came free, but Leonides Benet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leonides Benet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Gartzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Conrado Jaunti fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Plátanos's protests and gave Conrado Jaunti a yellow card for diving instead. After 18 played minutes Plátanos got a freekick which was hit by Conrado Jaunti. A collision led to Plátanos getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Romeo Urbes hit a great ball. Wildermuth AFC's Domingo Hartz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cayetano Paz in the 23rd minute of play. In the 29th minute Conrado Jaunti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingo Hartz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulo Seber kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Plátanos's Leonides Benet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerardo Odol in the 31st minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Plátanos's goal looked a bit too open when Gerardo Odol came free, but Leonides Benet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Domingo Hartz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teo Charro, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 37th minute, Basilio Dino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 39 minutes into the match, Fernando Gartzi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leonides Benet. Plátanos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fernando Gartzi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 45 minutes into the game, Gerardo Odol cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Leonides Benet was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florencio Xabat in the 48th minute of play forced Plátanos's goalkeeper Leonides Benet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cayetano Paz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Wildermuth AFC's Maximo Hurko dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. In the 60th minute, Teo Charro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Domingo Hartz was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. 71 minutes into the match, Plátanos's goal looked a bit too open when Gerardo Odol came free, but Leonides Benet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74thth minute of the game Conrado Jaunti who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wildermuth AFC's Domingo Hartz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 75th match minute, Wildermuth AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leandro Arias to maneuver through the defense. Roque Dimo, 75 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teo Charro in the 77th minute of play forced Wildermuth AFC's goalkeeper Domingo Hartz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Domingo Hartz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teo Charro in the 80th minute of the match. Gerardo Odol received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Leonides Benet came out and tried to block the shot, but Gerardo Odol slotted it home off the left post making it 2-4 in the 85th minute. 89 minutes into the match, Plátanos's goalkeeper Leonides Benet had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Florencio Xabat. In the 90th minute, Teo Charro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Plátanos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-4. When the match was over Wildermuth AFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Plátanos throughout the match.
