Ferman Cañadas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roque Dimo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leo Estefan hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. When Roque Dimo came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Plátanos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roque Dimo couldn't finish the play. In the 10th minute, Plátanos's Ramiro Aurken dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Vilelas's Ferman Cañadas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Vilelas from getting a goal against them. Ramiro Aurken fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferman Cañadas having to interfere. In the 17th minute Iker Calisto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonides Benet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Vilelas booed when Plátanos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Seber didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leonides Benet didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Iker Calisto went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ramiro Aurken in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ferman Cañadas saved Vilelas from getting behind. After 28 minutes, Astor Bastiaro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vilelas and the Plátanos players grew even worse after the yellow card. Plátanos's Leonides Benet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iker Calisto in the 44th minute of play.

Ferman Cañadas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramiro Aurken in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 54th match minute, Vilelas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabian Niva to maneuver through the defense. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Plátanos's goalkeeper Leonides Benet, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Teo Charro came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Plátanos fans jumped to their feet. Vilelas's Arnoldo Gartzi got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Iker Calisto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonides Benet having to interfere. Iker Calisto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Leonides Benet made a huge save. Leonides Benet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iker Calisto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Elvio Frutos during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Elvio Frutos hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnoldo Gartzi in the 81st minute of play forced Plátanos's goalkeeper Leonides Benet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Plátanos's Leonides Benet proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Plátanos from getting a goal against them. Leonides Benet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnoldo Gartzi, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute.
