After a rather tough play, Radnicki 1923 Kg-Stars™'s Jugoslav Đurđević got a free kick in the 43rd minute. In the 46th minute, Garanhão do SUL's Torcato Rebocho ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Richárd Textex. Richárd Textex yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. After the first half Radnicki 1923 Kg-Stars™ were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dušan Vlahovic stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute of the match Radnicki 1923 Kg-Stars™ got a corner. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gu Zhan Qiang got free with Ignatius Casasola in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dušan Vlahovic sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Laércio Rebocho during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Radnicki 1923 Kg-Stars™'s zone, Akis Kefallinos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Richárd Textex came out of the goal and Akis Kefallinos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
