Ignatius Casasola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silverio Perrando, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. A collision led to Garanhão do SUL getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Adriano Leite hit a great ball. Guillermina FC's Maximino Elequemedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgar Costa in the 10th minute of play. Maximino Elequemedo came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Garanhão do SUL's Torcato Rebocho. But to his dismay, Torcato Rebocho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After a rather tough play, Garanhão do SUL's 龙然明 got a free kick in the 18th minute. Maximino Elequemedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Akis Kefallinos in the 22nd minute of play. Ricardo Txordon hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Edgar Costa scored 0-2 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Maximino Elequemedo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 38 minutes of play, Garanhão do SUL's Edgar Costa made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maximino Elequemedo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Edgar Costa struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Maximino Elequemedo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Garanhão do SUL. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

58 minutes into the match, Guillermina FC's goalkeeper Maximino Elequemedo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edgar Costa. 59 minutes into the game, Serafin Goyo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guillermina FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Garanhão do SUL the free kick. In the 59th minute, Serafin Goyo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Guillermina FC's Maximino Elequemedo got control of the ball when Edgar Costa tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 61st minute, Edgar Costa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maximino Elequemedo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Guillermina FC's Maximino Elequemedo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Guillermina FC from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Obafemi Fabiani got free with Maximino Elequemedo in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 74 minutes into the game, Garanhão do SUL's Obafemi Fabiani nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Maximino Elequemedo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. 84 minutes into the match, Garanhão do SUL's goal looked a bit too open when Pablo Poz came free, but Ignatius Casasola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Maximino Elequemedo managed to avoid a goal in the 86thth minute, when Garanhão do SUL's Albano Leizarraga fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Albano Leizarraga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Obafemi Fabiani's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Maximino Elequemedo firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 95th minute of the game Lorenzo Nofre made a throw-in which Ermegildo Loreto played forward. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Torcato Rebocho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Garanhão do SUL's supporters rose to their feet, but Torcato Rebocho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maximino Elequemedo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
