Zé Gato made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Project Nemesis's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. After taking down the ball on Project Nemesis's corner Padro Trúpkov fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Zé Gato quite easily take care of the ball. SITIO CITY were furious when Milosz Gierlach was red carded, 14 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlos Garcia in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Peter Parker saved Project Nemesis from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Garcia in the 39th minute of play forced Project Nemesis's goalkeeper Peter Parker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Luciano Acosta came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Project Nemesis fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luciano Acosta couldn't finish the play. The supporters of SITIO CITY booed when Project Nemesis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baba Baba didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luciano Acosta to strike the kick off in the second half. Luciano Acosta charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
