Guilherme Souza took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hugo de Amorim. Hugo de Amorim dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Gigio Buffon made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Millano Almandoz sent off a good shot on target. After 24 minutes U21 Brazil's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Virgílio Gaúcho who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Mosqueteiros 4EVER's corner Virgílio Gaúcho fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gigio Buffon quite easily take care of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Guilherme Souza in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hugo de Amorim prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 28th minute Thiago Motta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo de Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gigio Buffon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Millano Almandoz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thiago Motta in the 30th minute of play forced Mosqueteiros 4EVER's goalkeeper Hugo de Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Millano Almandoz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gigio Buffon was a little too slow when Millano Almandoz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 36th minute. The score was now 1-2. When Guilherme Souza came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the U21 Brazil fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guilherme Souza couldn't finish the play. In the 41st minute of the game Virgílio Gaúcho made a throw-in which Emilio Galsino played forward. Hugo de Amorim stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Guilherme Souza's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. In the 48th minute, one of Mosqueteiros 4EVER:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Mosqueteiros 4EVER. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Millano Almandoz made a kick off. Mosqueteiros 4EVER's Hugo de Amorim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Mosqueteiros 4EVER from getting a goal against them. Hugo de Amorim was a little too slow when Duarte de Castro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 56th minute. The score was now 1-5. A collision led to U21 Brazil getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. João Pedro Arce hit a great ball. Millano Almandoz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Gigio Buffon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hugo de Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guilherme Souza, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Mosqueteiros 4EVER's Serafino Nafarroa got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. U21 Brazil made a substitution. Elói Alcântara replaced Guilherme Souza. U21 Brazil's Kléberson Mazza was substituted for Duarte de Castro. U21 Brazil made a substitution. Cláudio Favoretto replaced Zé Bala. After some careless play in the Mosqueteiros 4EVER defense, Elói Alcântara kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hugo de Amorim. The Mosqueteiros 4EVER fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hugo de Amorim should have stopped the shot. Heintje Korte kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. 86 minutes in the game, Heintje Korte got a free kick from a good position and fired away a shot. The shot didn't have enough spin and went out of bounds to the left of the goal. Hugo de Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elói Alcântara in the 92nd minute of play. U21 Brazil's João Pedro Arce managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Virgílio Gaúcho in the 94 minute of the game. Elói Alcântara blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hugo de Amorim having to make a save. 97 minutes into the match, Mosqueteiros 4EVER's goalkeeper Hugo de Amorim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elói Alcântara. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elói Alcântara in the 99th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hugo de Amorim prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. U21 Brazil walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
