The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gelu Alexandrescu was the one to do the kick off. Ѱ Nuevo Dragón Rojo FC Ѱ's Ivo Tropchev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gelu Alexandrescu in the 61st minute of play. Ivo Tropchev was a little too slow when Cezar Cucu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 64th minute. The score was now 0-1. In the 67th minute Gelu Alexandrescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivo Tropchev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnaldo Montrelle in the 72nd minute of play forced Fotbal Club Otelul Galati's goalkeeper Nechifor Păunescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ivo Tropchev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iustin Anghelescu in the 86th minute of play.

When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Fotbal Club Otelul Galati had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
