If Łukasz Zwolinski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 16th minute, Łukasz Zwolinski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Egun Pais made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. The audience was convinced that Andy Cole's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tony Githinji Muhoho was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. In the 34th minute Floresta Negra FC were awarded a corner. Lokon Pøhl went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Lokon Pøhl got away a dangerous shot. Andy Cole in the 36thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Tony Githinji Muhoho, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Floresta Negra FC made a substitution. Jardel Lewandowski replaced Andy Cole. Egun Pais showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roy Makaay, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute.
