János Moravecz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. János Moravecz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Durval Aparecido in the 22nd minute of the match. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The SÉ SE fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that János Moravecz should have stopped the shot. In the 48th minute, Zalán Ibrahimovic left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SÉ SE fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆'s David Elodio was substituted for Durval Aparecido. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cláudio Caniggia made a kick off. In the 68th minute, Cláudio Caniggia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 70 minutes into the game, SÉ SE's Zalán Ibrahimovic nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Guilherme Zanette made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-3. SÉ SE made a substitution. Tibor Dudás replaced Ludomil Bronkala. János Moravecz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cláudio Caniggia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
