Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eduardo Pires to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vilgot Blomkvist got free with Gabriel Cruz in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 59 minutes into the match, Abufari SC's Eduardo Pires sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Herman Gustafsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gabriel Cruz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kristoffer Sjöö, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. 89 minutes into the match, Björn Löfgren had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gabriel Cruz. Abufari SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Björn Löfgren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Abufari SC's zone, Vilgot Blomkvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gabriel Cruz came out of the goal and Vilgot Blomkvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Snedspark BK eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
