Jeremias Gartzi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 13thth minute tested the skills of Tomasz Jurgiel when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Radomir Juszkowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Boleslaw Dresik hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. After having played for 24 minutes, Jeremias Gartzi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mar del Plata Club Sports's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jeremias Gartzi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Jeremias Gartzi managed to get in a good position for a shot. In the 79th minute, Pankracy Serwach reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Leonides Nuxila. The goal made the score 1-2. When Radomir Juszkowski came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Zawisza Bydgoszcz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Radomir Juszkowski couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Mar del Plata Club Sports booed when Zawisza Bydgoszcz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position.
