The audience was convinced that Mané Batista's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Akşemseddin Taran was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. But to his dismay, Piotr Bielejewski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. If Tytus Jaszcz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. Dante Rafe might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vefa Doğay. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out.
