In the 8th minute, 韩默克 made a precise shot to the right of Mugur Horațiu. MAIRENA DEL ALJARAFE's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After a rather tough play, Palestra do Interior's Percival Cruz got a free kick in the 19th minute. After 24 minutes MAIRENA DEL ALJARAFE's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Evripidis Picoulas who took care of the corner kick. Palestra do Interior's Allan Varela proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Palestra do Interior from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Palestra do Interior's Allan Varela got control of the ball when Nils-Åke Lind tried to sneak it across the goal line. Xabat Ramos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mugur Horațiu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 韩默克 in the 47th minute of the match. After the first half Palestra do Interior were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when 韩默克 stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, MAIRENA DEL ALJARAFE's Mugur Horațiu got control of the ball when Percival Cruz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Palestra do Interior's Vitório Lago was substituted for Romário Barbosa. Vitório Lago came free with the goalkeeper in the 74th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Mugur Horațiu could save by the left post. 75 minutes into the match, MAIRENA DEL ALJARAFE's goalkeeper Mugur Horațiu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vitório Lago. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Estefan Zárate during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Estefan Zárate hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. MAIRENA DEL ALJARAFE made a substitution. Salvador Moreno replaced Sancho Marrero. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vitório Lago in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mugur Horațiu saved MAIRENA DEL ALJARAFE from getting behind. In the 93rd minute, Vitório Lago reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mugur Horațiu. The goal made the score 0-7. Palestra do Interior's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
