In the 9th minute Ulises Menjivar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fulgencio Villalcazar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, İZMİR&GS's Mehmet Bedri Ağaverdi got a free kick in the 12th minute. In the 20th minute Julianda Rakasiwi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Efren Rodriguez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Woodley United's Efren Rodriguez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Woodley United from getting a goal against them. Ulises Menjivar shot from long distance after 22 played minutes, a shot that Fulgencio Villalcazar with certain difficulty stopped from going in under the crossbar. 22 minutes into the game, Woodley United's Ulises Menjivar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. In the 43rd minute, İZMİR&GS's Julianda Rakasiwi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 5-1. Erman Özmerts short, quick shot in the 47thth minute got Efren Rodriguez to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Julianda Rakasiwi made the kick off in the second half. İZMİR&GS's Fulgencio Villalcazar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save İZMİR&GS from getting a goal against them. If Julianda Rakasiwi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Efren Rodriguez came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by İZMİR&GS's Antônio Furtado. But to his dismay, Antônio Furtado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-1. In the 74th minute, Ulises Menjivar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The İZMİR&GS fans' excitement grew in the 75th match minute when İZMİR&GS's Julianda Rakasiwi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 8-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 78 minutes into the game, Julianda Rakasiwi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-1. Efren Rodriguez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match clock showed 81 minutes, the score became 10-1 when Julianda Rakasiwi sped through Woodley United's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Efren Rodriguez. After 92 minutes, Salvador Peredes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Woodley United and the İZMİR&GS players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of İZMİR&GS booed when Woodley United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salvador Peredes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julianda Rakasiwi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Efren Rodriguez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. 94 minutes into the game, Julianda Rakasiwi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 12-1. Efren Rodriguez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Woodley United getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Yasir Morales hit a great ball. 98 minutes into the match, İZMİR&GS's Erman Özmert sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Efren Rodriguez narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
