The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Lúcio Cruz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Xu Li Sang's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cristi Miheș was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. Kylian Henry struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Manoel Neuer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Armada. 9 minutes into the game, Kylian Henry cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Manoel Neuer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Iosif Şiman scored 0-2 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Manoel Neuer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lúcio Cruz in the 16th minute of play forced Armada's goalkeeper Cristi Miheș to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristi Miheș made an important save on a dangerous shot by Durval de Queirós in the 18th minute. In the 21st minute Lúcio Cruz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristi Miheș saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xu Li Sang could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Cristi Miheș made a huge save. In the 24th match minute, Jovens Democratas MZC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dobromir Zagrodny to maneuver through the defense. 27 minutes into the game, Xu Li Sang recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cristi Miheș. Xu Li Sang showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Iosif Şiman kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. After having played for 35 minutes, Kylian Henry managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Armada's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kylian Henry was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Manoel Neuer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kylian Henry, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Armada getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. David Bitănescu hit a great ball. Armada's Kylian Henry got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tião Beckenbauer kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kylian Henry stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Armada getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Iosif Şiman hit a great ball. Cristi Miheș stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Durval de Queirós's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kylian Henry in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Manoel Neuer saved Jovens Democratas MZC from getting behind. In the 58th minute, Armada's Kylian Henry ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Manoel Neuer. Manoel Neuer yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. Manoel Neuer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kylian Henry, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 65th minute, Anastasios Boukouvalas reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Manoel Neuer. The goal made the score 1-4. Jovens Democratas MZC's Jozef Ilve was substituted for David Puyol. Jovens Democratas MZC's Marco van Basten was substituted for Xu Li Sang. Armada's Edgar Șeicaru was substituted for Ma Feng Sen. Kylian Henry struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Manoel Neuer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Armada.
