The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The supporters of The Obscurials booed when Sporting Royal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nae Moisil didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 27 minutes Sporting Royal's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Fabian Spânu who took care of the corner kick. Zheng Chao made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nae Moisil in the 32nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anders Westerstrand in the 33rd minute of play forced Sporting Royal's goalkeeper Lucrețiu Roșeanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lucrețiu Roșeanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adriano Ribeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. In the 46th minute Nelson Wright shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucrețiu Roșeanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Anders Westerstrand made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Adriano Ribeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Obscurials's supporters rose to their feet, but Adriano Ribeiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lucrețiu Roșeanu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Adriano Ribeiro received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lucrețiu Roșeanu came out and tried to block the shot, but Adriano Ribeiro slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 52nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anders Westerstrand in the 57th minute of play forced Sporting Royal's goalkeeper Lucrețiu Roșeanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When The Obscurials's Adriano Ribeiro in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Anders Westerstrand showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. The Obscurials's Angelo Eiró was substituted for Cliff Rowden. The Obscurials's Lawrance Grandison was substituted for Adriano Ribeiro. Anders Westerstrand could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Lucrețiu Roșeanu made a huge save. In the 77th minute, Lawrance Grandison reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Lucrețiu Roșeanu. The goal made the score 0-5. Sporting Royal's Hermes Soveral was substituted for Damian Crăciun. Sporting Royal's Dorin Borza was substituted for Ionică Predescu. Lucrețiu Roșeanu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lawrance Grandison's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. Sporting Royal's Lucrețiu Roșeanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nelson Wright in the 89th minute of play. Lucrețiu Roșeanu was a little too slow when Lawrance Grandison got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 91st minute. The score was now 0-6. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lawrance Grandison in the 94th minute of play forced Sporting Royal's goalkeeper Lucrețiu Roșeanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of The Obscurials booed when Sporting Royal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcu Ploieșteanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Sporting Royal fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. The Obscurials were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
