When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Anders Westerstrand sped through Armada's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cristi Miheș. Cristi Miheș made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Adriano Ribeiro sent off a good shot on target. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zheng Chao showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Iosif Şiman made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Liviu Buceceanu got free with Zheng Chao in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 94 minutes into the game, Liviu Buceceanu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Zheng Chao. Liviu Buceceanu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1.
