The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 12 minutes into the match, Altos Gatos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gavino Gabino came free, but Christian Kiliz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Enrique Vidal came free with the goalkeeper in the 14th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Oliverio Kahn could save by the left post. 17 minutes into the game, Altos Gatos FC's Aurelio Duarte nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Oliverio Kahn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 20th minute Gavino Gabino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Kiliz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karl De Clercq kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Altos Gatos FC's Christian Kiliz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gavino Gabino in the 27th minute of play. In the 29th match minute, ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dedê Donatello to maneuver through the defense. Enrique Vidal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Oliverio Kahn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. 37 minutes into the game, Gavino Gabino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Christian Kiliz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 47th match minute, ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tobias Xacintu to maneuver through the defense. Aurelio Duarte struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Oliverio Kahn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Altos Gatos FC. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aurelio Duarte made a kick off. Mats Liljeström blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Christian Kiliz having to make a save. A collision led to ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Tobias Xacintu hit a great ball. Christian Kiliz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gavino Gabino in the 56th minute of play. ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ were awarded a corner in the 57th minute after Altos Gatos FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tobias Xacintu took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Tobias Xacintu got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Christian Kiliz quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s Oliverio Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurelio Duarte in the 65th minute of play. Altos Gatos FC's Javier Santo was substituted for Justino Corderun. ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s Aldo Cresconio was substituted for Mats Liljeström. ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s Ezequiel Lavezzi was substituted for Benedito Camargo. A throw-in in the 68th minute of the game was made by Everardo Chago with Edward Pietrowicz as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After 69 played minutes Altos Gatos FC got a freekick which was hit by Edward Pietrowicz. Altos Gatos FC's Christian Kiliz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Altos Gatos FC from getting a goal against them. In the 71st match minute, ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Renatinho Diamant to maneuver through the defense. In the 72nd minute Javier Santo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oliverio Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 74th minute of the game Everardo Chago made a throw-in which Aurelio Duarte played forward. Christian Kiliz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saturnino Romo in the 75th minute of the match. In the 79th minute, Liev Tolstoy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Saturnino Romo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Christian Kiliz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saturnino Romo in the 80th minute of the match. After 88 played minutes Altos Gatos FC got a freekick which was hit by Edward Pietrowicz. With a little luck, Altos Gatos FC's Christian Kiliz got control of the ball when Saturnino Romo tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Boni Wisanggeni fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s protests and gave Boni Wisanggeni a yellow card for diving instead. Boni Wisanggeni kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Javier Santo in the 96th minute of play forced ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s goalkeeper Oliverio Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
