Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Li Sen Ling in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Birila Graña prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Birila Graña took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Cavenaghi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valko De Hond in the 27th minute of play forced Claretiano FC's goalkeeper Birila Graña to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th minute, Kalmer Üksvärav hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Evelio Milian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maurinho Mendonça in the 30th minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Claretiano FC's goal looked a bit too open when Li Sen Ling came free, but Birila Graña reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Birila Graña made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valko De Hond in the 36th minute of play. In the 62nd minute Bartolo Buinton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Birila Graña saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 67 minutes, Bartolo Buinton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jarana FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bartolo Buinton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Birila Graña showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bartolo Buinton, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bartolo Buinton got free with Birila Graña in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee ignored Claretiano FC's protests and gave Favila Ribadas a yellow card for diving instead. Claretiano FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Benigno Viñal in the 98th minute. A nice corner shot did that Benigno Viñal got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Evelio Milian quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Despite being the better team, Jarana FC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
