When Thomas Shelby fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Flying Dutchman's protests and gave Thomas Shelby a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Flying Dutchman getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Thomas Shelby hit a great ball. Todor Slaveev made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carlos Carnicero in the 19th minute. Todor Slaveev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boleslaw Czubski, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. The KS Luxik Ruda Śląska fans cheered their team off the field, for while Flying Dutchman had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
