One of Minotauro:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of T€Tra brick FC:s goal. After a rather tough play, Minotauro's Eliseu Peres got a free kick in the 34th minute. 40 minutes into the game, Isaac Frasquito recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Giovanni de Toledo. Isaac Frasquito showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Giovanni de Toledo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Palermo in the 42nd minute of play. After 45 played minutes Minotauro got a freekick which was hit by Eliseu Peres. In the 48th minute, Martin Palermo made a precise shot to the right of Giovanni de Toledo. Minotauro's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Minotauro's Zé Paulo Mendonça was substituted for Severino Guerra. Minotauro's Sandro Quintal was substituted for Tales Vasconcelos. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The supporters of T€Tra brick FC booed when Minotauro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jean Eger didn't get a good kick on the ball. Martin Palermo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Giovanni de Toledo having to make a save. Giovanni de Toledo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Palermo, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute.
