Adriano De Carolis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bernard Ochabski's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Leo Unzaga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adriano De Carolis having to interfere. In the 30th minute Serafim Catranides shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adriano De Carolis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41st minute, Folker Waidijk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alfonso Gilabert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Defensores del Ángel Gris getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Bernard Ochabski hit a great ball. Bartlomiej Rybak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tiburones Machos's Franciszek Lerych was substituted for Gil Valerón. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Alfonso Gilabert made the kick off in the second half. Alfonso Gilabert recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Uriel Chorche showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bartlomiej Rybak, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. 57 minutes into the match, Tiburones Machos's goal looked a bit too open when Alifonso Irureta came free, but Adriano De Carolis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 61st minute, Alfonso Gilabert ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adriano De Carolis was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Tiburones Machos made a substitution. Rosendo Rios replaced Bartlomiej Rybak. Bernard Ochabski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Adriano De Carolis having to make a save. Adriano De Carolis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfonso Gilabert in the 71st minute of play. Leopoldo Aimar hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Uriel Chorche made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abilio Abar in the 79th minute. 80 minutes had been played when some careless play by Defensores del Ángel Gris's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Franciszek Lerych was slow to take the kick. During this time Tiburones Machos's players had a chance to rest. Tiburones Machos's Franciszek Lerych was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Uriel Chorche in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Uriel Chorche showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abilio Abar in the 83rd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alfonso Gilabert during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 84 played minutes Defensores del Ángel Gris got a freekick which was hit by Alfonso Gilabert. 86 minutes into the match, Tiburones Machos's goal looked a bit too open when Alfonso Gilabert came free, but Adriano De Carolis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adriano De Carolis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfonso Gilabert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 93 minutes, Uriel Chorche successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. William Gijselinckx kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Tiburones Machos players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Defensores del Ángel Gris.
