A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Gonzo Maradona made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Indiana Jones sent off a good shot on target. Higinio Aguilera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edvard Võsandi in the 35th minute of the match. Higinio Aguilera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ömer-Asaf Güneş in the 37th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ömer-Asaf Güneş in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Higinio Aguilera saved Los Hijos de Doña Beija from getting behind. Los Hijos de Doña Beija's Higinio Aguilera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severino Estevez in the 41st minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Hu Xiong Zhen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 44 minutes into the match, Los Hijos de Doña Beija's goal looked a bit too open when Ömer-Asaf Güneş came free, but Higinio Aguilera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Les Tigres's Enzo Vezin was substituted for Rodolfo Luken. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ömer-Asaf Güneş to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute of the match, Edvard Võsandi tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Higinio Aguilera saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The Los Hijos de Doña Beija fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Higinio Aguilera should have stopped the shot. Los Hijos de Doña Beija made a substitution. Venancio Sandaili replaced Albino Brion. The supporters of Los Hijos de Doña Beija booed when Les Tigres was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Les Tigres's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
