Yuri Gaspar scored 1-0 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lázaro Odon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Álvaro Quintanilha in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lázaro Odon saved ESQUIU FC from getting behind. Álvaro Quintanilha struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Lázaro Odon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sporting Clube Patrício. After 15 played minutes ESQUIU FC got a freekick which was hit by Narciso Ekain. 18 minutes into the match, Álvaro Quintanilha dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Lázaro Odon, 2-0. Álvaro Quintanilha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Sporting Clube Patrício getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Valter Cardoso hit a great ball. Catarino Furtado hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristo Abalos in the 28th minute of play forced Sporting Clube Patrício's goalkeeper Almiro Setúbal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Álvaro Quintanilha received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lázaro Odon came out and tried to block the shot, but Álvaro Quintanilha slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 29th minute. 32 minutes into the match, Catarino Furtado had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lázaro Odon. ESQUIU FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Catarino Furtado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Sporting Clube Patrício's Álvaro Quintanilha slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lázaro Odon. That made the score 5-0 after 35 minutes of play. Lázaro Odon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Álvaro Quintanilha in the 40th minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, Catarino Furtado notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of ESQUIU FC's Lázaro Odon. Lázaro Odon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 45th match minute, ESQUIU FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andres Eztebe to maneuver through the defense. ESQUIU FC's Lázaro Odon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save ESQUIU FC from getting a goal against them.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Álvaro Quintanilha to make the kick off. In the 58th minute Álvaro Quintanilha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lázaro Odon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lázaro Odon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yuri Gaspar in the 59th minute of the match. In the 61st minute, Feliciano Guzman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Álvaro Quintanilha in the 64th minute of play forced ESQUIU FC's goalkeeper Lázaro Odon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Álvaro Quintanilha's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lázaro Odon was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. Lázaro Odon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Álvaro Quintanilha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lázaro Odon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Catarino Furtado went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 10-0 was the resulting score. Sporting Clube Patrício walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
