The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Casimiro Jatsu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Casimiro Jatsu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Ernani de Amaral fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Altza Herria's protests and gave Ernani de Amaral a yellow card for diving instead. Ernani de Amaral kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Äli Abdulrähmanov hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Julio-César van Beek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Casimiro Jatsu in the 14th minute of play. Casimiro Jatsu might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio-César van Beek. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Casimiro Jatsu ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 26th minute, Casimiro Jatsu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio-César van Beek was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After having played for 29 minutes, Horia Lupu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Airborne FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Horia Lupu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pedro Paulo Barreto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christiano Ronaldo, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. After 32 minutes, Christiano Ronaldo made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Airborne FC's Pedro Paulo Barreto tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Julio-César van Beek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Horia Lupu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 40 minutes into the match, Horia Lupu notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Altza Herria's Julio-César van Beek. Julio-César van Beek was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. César Sampaio hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Airborne FC's zone, 康鸿潮 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Paulo Barreto came out of the goal and 康鸿潮 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half Airborne FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Christiano Ronaldo was the one to do the kick off. When Altza Herria's Christiano Ronaldo in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Pedro Paulo Barreto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 康鸿潮 in the 73rd minute of the match. Pedro Paulo Barreto came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Altza Herria's 康鸿潮. But to his dismay, 康鸿潮 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Altza Herria's Julio-César van Beek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcos Linares in the 80th minute of play. In the 85th minute Casimiro Jatsu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio-César van Beek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Airborne FC booed when Altza Herria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. 康鸿潮 didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 93rd match minute, Altza Herria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 康鸿潮 to maneuver through the defense. In the 95th match minute, Altza Herria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iurie Macovei to maneuver through the defense.
