Husky was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcos Azofra to maneuver through the defense. In the 40th minute, Che Camacho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in C.A. Husky's zone, Robert Arboleda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jago Urquijo came out of the goal and Robert Arboleda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ryszard Barycz in the 43rd minute of play forced C.A. Husky's goalkeeper Jago Urquijo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner led ITAFUT 4EVER's Jean-Paul Møffelmand to fire away a dangerous shot which Jago Urquijo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Jago Urquijo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ryszard Barycz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tallia Incera to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorden De Cerpel in the 75th minute of play forced ITAFUT 4EVER's goalkeeper Nilson Peres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
