In the 13th minute, Roman Eliseev got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Chaján's Baldomiro Sindo got control of the ball when Roman Eliseev tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Крылья Советов getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Maksim Esipov hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Kutlay Umay managed to get in a good position for a shot. Крылья Советов's supporters rose to their feet, but Kutlay Umay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baldomiro Sindo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Roman Eliseev in the 21stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. After a rather tough play, Chaján's Constantin Arnăutu got a free kick in the 28th minute. Baldomiro Sindo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kutlay Umay in the 45th minute of play. Melquiades Blanco struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Joseph Algren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chaján. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Augustas Matukass short, quick shot in the 65thth minute got Joseph Algren to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.
