Spectators: 2351 (Terracing: 1764, Seating: 541, VIP seats: 46) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Calvin Yarbrough kicked off to start the match. Calvin Yarbrough might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Peter Sudhoff. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Calvin Yarbrough ran back to his position shaking his head. Blaine Rudd could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Peter Sudhoff made a huge save. After 9 minutes, Philipp Wannemaker mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the RBL and the Key West FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 9th minute, Philipp Wannemaker hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 15 minutes into the game, Blaine Rudd cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Peter Sudhoff was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 18th minute, Calvin Yarbrough reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Peter Sudhoff. The goal made the score 3-0. 29 minutes into the game, RBL's Gaston Ixona nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Claudinei Montenegro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. In the 37th minute Monroe Braun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Sudhoff saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gaston Ixona struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Claudinei Montenegro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RBL. Blaine Rudd's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Peter Sudhoff firmly grabbed it by the left post. The audience was convinced that Gaston Ixona's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Claudinei Montenegro was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. Ulrich Krützfeld recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

A collision led to RBL getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Kevin Hagedorn hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blaine Rudd in the 57th minute of play forced RBL's goalkeeper Peter Sudhoff to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. RBL's Peter Sudhoff played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Calvin Yarbrough in the 59th minute of play. In the 62nd minute RBL were awarded a corner. Thomas Geske went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 65th minute, Reuben Sims left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Key West FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-2. Claudinei Montenegro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaston Ixona in the 68th minute of play. Gaston Ixona could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Claudinei Montenegro made a huge save. When Reuben Sims came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Key West FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reuben Sims couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Blaine Rudd in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Peter Sudhoff saved RBL from getting behind. Gaston Ixonas short, quick shot in the 80thth minute got Claudinei Montenegro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Claudinei Montenegro made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Julius Schlacher sent off a good shot on target. Gaston Ixona was extremely unlucky when he, in the 85th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 88th play minute Thomas Geske came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Claudinei Montenegro. 5-3. A collision led to RBL getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Kevin Hagedorn hit a great ball. The supporters of RBL booed when Key West FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bradly Owen didn't get a good kick on the ball.
