The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rolando Jacaré helped the player get up and apologised. Vladimir Lenin might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Diamantino De Matos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vladimir Lenin ran back to his position shaking his head. Diamantino De Matos came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Azulgrana 81's Albert Rauvoe. But to his dismay, Albert Rauvoe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Cirilo Peyo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viveque Fernandes Braga in the 18th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Angola City defense, Vladimir Lenin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Diamantino De Matos. The Angola City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Diamantino De Matos should have stopped the shot. Vladimir Lenin hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Diamantino De Matos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alejandro Martinez in the 30th minute of play. In the 31st minute, Simão Fernandes Braga made a precise shot to the right of Cirilo Peyo. Azulgrana 81's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Cirilo Peyo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viveque Fernandes Braga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cirilo Peyo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viveque Fernandes Braga, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 37th minute Angola City were awarded a corner. Simão Fernandes Braga went to the cornerflag to take it. 39 minutes into the game, Saúl Akwa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Angola City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Azulgrana 81 the free kick. Vladimir Lenin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After the first half Azulgrana 81 were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vladimir Lenin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes of play, Azulgrana 81's Alejandro Martinez made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Diamantino De Matos was left in no man's land by his defense there! 55 minutes into the game, Azulgrana 81's Alejandro Martinez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Diamantino De Matos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. Diamantino De Matos was a little too slow when Albert Rauvoe got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 57th minute. The score was now 1-6. Vladimir Lenin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Diamantino De Matos having to make a save. With a little luck, Angola City's Diamantino De Matos got control of the ball when Vladimir Lenin tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 65th minute Cláudio Rochedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cirilo Peyo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71st minute, Vladimir Lenin reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Diamantino De Matos. The goal made the score 1-8. Lopo Varanda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Angola City getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Cláudio Rochedo hit a great ball. Diamantino De Matos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albert Rauvoe in the 83rd minute of play. Diamantino De Matos made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Alejandro Martinez sent off a good shot on target. Cirilo Peyo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Simão Fernandes Braga went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-8 was the resulting score.

The Azulgrana 81 supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Azulgrana 81 would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
