In the 5th match minute, Ťĥē Řïśĭηģ §ŧŕĩкë was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raja Simbolon to maneuver through the defense. After 6 played minutes, Leicester Lions's Michal Budzyn shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Leontin Joldea came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Leicester Lions reached it. Leontin Joldea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Qiu De Wen in the 8th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hasan Sentosa got free with Grant Blacknell in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 15th minute Hasan Sentosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Grant Blacknell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st minute, Hasan Sentosa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 24 minutes into the game, Hasan Sentosa recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Grant Blacknell. Hasan Sentosa showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Grant Blacknell stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hasan Sentosa's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Leontin Joldea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tod Freeman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leontin Joldea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Camron Rhodes, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. 35 minutes into the match, Ťĥē Řïśĭηģ §ŧŕĩкë's Hasan Sentosa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Grant Blacknell narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tod Freeman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leontin Joldea having to interfere. Ťĥē Řïśĭηģ §ŧŕĩкë's Leontin Joldea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camron Rhodes in the 41st minute of play. After 45 minutes of play, Leicester Lions's Şükür Hagi made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leontin Joldea was left in no man's land by his defense there! Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hasan Sentosa made a kick off. 50 minutes into the match, Ťĥē Řïśĭηģ §ŧŕĩкë's goalkeeper Leontin Joldea had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Şükür Hagi. Mike Wadham hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Ťĥē Řïśĭηģ §ŧŕĩкë's Leontin Joldea got control of the ball when Şükür Hagi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hidayet Erincer hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Şükür Hagi got free with Leontin Joldea in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Grant Blacknell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hasan Sentosa in the 69th minute of the match. Grant Blacknell stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hasan Sentosa's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. Ťĥē Řïśĭηģ §ŧŕĩкë's Leontin Joldea proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Ťĥē Řïśĭηģ §ŧŕĩкë from getting a goal against them. Hasan Sentosa scored 3-1 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Grant Blacknell, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Leicester Lions made a substitution. Damian Dyson replaced Jack Sharp. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Leicester Lions's goalkeeper Grant Blacknell, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 88th minute Mike Wadham shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leontin Joldea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 92 minutes into the game, Ťĥē Řïśĭηģ §ŧŕĩкë's Hasan Sentosa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Grant Blacknell made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Ťĥē Řïśĭηģ §ŧŕĩкë's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
