Federation Clash Challenge

Spectators: 52 (Terracing: 39, Seating: 12, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Karol Panasewicz started the match with the kick off. Romão Mourato's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Robin Sharma read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. Roneros F.C.'s Ricardo Ceberiche played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karol Panasewicz in the 11th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Blue Mountain State's goalkeeper Robin Sharma had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Witomir Jestrimski. Ricardo Ceberiche made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolas De la Cruz in the 16th minute of play. In the 21st minute Romão Mourato shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robin Sharma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karol Panasewicz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 29th minute Jiang Sha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robin Sharma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ricardo Ceberiche made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolas De la Cruz in the 31st minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Blue Mountain State's goalkeeper Robin Sharma had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jiang Sha. If Umbruso Salvadios had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robin Sharma showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romão Mourato, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. With a little luck, Blue Mountain State's Robin Sharma got control of the ball when Romão Mourato tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 42nd minute Karol Panasewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Ceberiche saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Karol Panasewicz came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Blue Mountain State fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karol Panasewicz couldn't finish the play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Witomir Jestrimski made a kick off. In the 51st minute of the game Mattias Classon made a throw-in which Umbruso Salvadios played forward. After 52 played minutes Roneros F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Witomir Jestrimski. In the 56th minute Jiang Sha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robin Sharma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karol Panasewicz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ricardo Ceberiche having to make a save. 73 minutes into the match, Blue Mountain State's goal looked a bit too open when Romão Mourato came free, but Robin Sharma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 80 played minutes Blue Mountain State got a freekick which was hit by Tevfik Hunalp. Blue Mountain State's Gökcan Bergin was substituted for Tang Yang Le. Robin Sharma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrick Viera in the 83rd minute of play. Ricardo Ceberiche made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lionel-Andrés Messi in the 84th minute. Lionel-Andrés Messi took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ricardo Ceberiche. Ricardo Ceberiche dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 90 minutes into the match, Washington Piedrahita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Robin Sharma. Blue Mountain State's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Washington Piedrahita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Blue Mountain State had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
