In the 2nd minute, Vahur Nirk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC Ribba's Pavel Ilgov got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pavel Ilgov's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Heigo Mustkivi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. 9 minutes into the game, Andrzej Kinic was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Ribba's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tapa Athlétic™ the free kick. In the 10th match minute, FC Ribba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andrzej Kinic to maneuver through the defense. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tapa Athlétic™'s goalkeeper Heigo Mustkivi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 14th minute FC Ribba were awarded a corner. Ivan Almstedt went to the cornerflag to take it. Pavel Ilgov's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Heigo Mustkivi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. When Pavel Ilgov came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the FC Ribba fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pavel Ilgov couldn't finish the play. After 31 played minutes Tapa Athlétic™ got a freekick which was hit by Leopold Mineja. Heigo Mustkivi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivan Almstedt, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. 39 minutes into the game, Tapa Athlétic™'s Mugurel Chiriloaie nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nourredine Aggoune made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. FC Ribba's Ivan Almstedt quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Yan Chuan Ling, made in the 43rd minute of the game. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Heigo Mustkivi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgar Pettersson in the 54th minute of play. Tapa Athlétic™'s Heigo Mustkivi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgar Pettersson in the 57th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mugurel Chiriloaie in the 61st minute of play forced FC Ribba's goalkeeper Nourredine Aggoune to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Gheorghiţă Hagi could shoot a difficult shot in the 64th minute, which Nourredine Aggoune however easily saved by the left post. FC Ribba's Arlo Huberto was substituted for Klement Furtok. In the 66th minute of the match Tapa Athlétic™ got a corner. FC Ribba's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Madis Indrekson ran over to the corner to take the kick. The audience was convinced that Edgar Pettersson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Heigo Mustkivi was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. When FC Ribba's Edgar Pettersson, in the 70th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for FC Ribba. Heigo Mustkivi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edgar Pettersson's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. In the 90th minute Kalju Palk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nourredine Aggoune saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Arlo Huberto came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the FC Ribba fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arlo Huberto couldn't finish the play. Nourredine Aggoune took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mugurel Chiriloaie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Ribba succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Tapa Athlétic™ had controlled the match.
