César Sousa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Song Wei Yun, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wilco Keldermans got free with Rahim Kornes in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fernando Negro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 20th minute Fernando Negro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but César Sousa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Filip Bejrut recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fernando Negro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 23rd minute Fernando Negro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but César Sousa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Negro in the 25th minute of play forced Decathlon Dudes's goalkeeper César Sousa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juan Ayuso blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rahim Kornes having to make a save. In the 29thth minute of the game Wilco Keldermans who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Seraċini Għawdxin's Rahim Kornes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 32 minutes into the game, Fernando Negro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. César Sousa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fernando Negro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but César Sousa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Juan Ayuso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Rahim Kornes made a huge save. César Sousa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuel Griffin in the 45th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Juan Ayuso to strike the kick off in the second half. Rahim Kornes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Ayuso, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Daan Wegman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Rahim Kornes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Decathlon Dudes's César Sousa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Decathlon Dudes from getting a goal against them. A hard shot 76 in the game by Fernando Negro from a close distance when the talented César Sousa managed to make a qualified save. Decathlon Dudes's players were relieved. Fernando Negro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without César Sousa having to make a save. The crowd rose to their feet as Seraċini Għawdxin's Fernando Negro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of César Sousa. That made the score 0-3 after 80 minutes of play. César Sousa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Negro in the 83rd minute of the match. César Sousa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Song Wei Yun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 91 minutes into the match, Song Wei Yun dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of César Sousa, 0-4. The Decathlon Dudes supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Seraċini Għawdxin's performance. The match ended with a win for Seraċini Għawdxin.
