Zacharias Siatzis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 9 minutes the xeneise dream team's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Wang Hai who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Amboy FC's corner Bruce Cornforth fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Vinicio Aires quite easily take care of the ball. In the 11th minute of the match Amboy FC got a corner. the xeneise dream team's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Wang Hai ran over to the corner to take the kick. Amboy FC's Bruce Cornforth was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Vinicio Aires in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bruce Cornforth in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vinicio Aires saved the xeneise dream team from getting behind. 30 minutes into the match, Amboy FC's goalkeeper Ariel Mourelatos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paolo Eutor. Henrik Askelöf made in the 40th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Arda Ardashov immediately put the ball in play. 41 minutes into the match, Amboy FC's goal looked a bit too open when Paolo Eutor came free, but Ariel Mourelatos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 44 played minutes the xeneise dream team got a freekick which was hit by Nereo Roldanillo. Nereo Roldanillo hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán made a kick off. Ariel Mourelatos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paolo Eutor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 67 played minutes the xeneise dream team got a freekick which was hit by Zacharias Siatzis. Amboy FC's Roberto Rodriguez was substituted for Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán. In the 68th minute, Zacharias Siatzis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vinicio Aires showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roberto Rodriguez in the 70th minute of the match. In the 76th minute Zacharias Siatzis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ariel Mourelatos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vinicio Aires showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roberto Rodriguez, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Roberto Rodriguez kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Vinicio Aires. That made the score 0-2 in the 79 minute of play. If Roberto Rodriguez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zacharias Siatzis in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ariel Mourelatos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vinicio Aires showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roberto Rodriguez, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. When Amboy FC's Roberto Rodriguez in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Amboy FC were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over the xeneise dream team's much stronger midfield.
