The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th match minute, DINAMO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Remus Pinaichev to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Goranesti getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Filip Beligan hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bogdan Gherasim in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ysmael Marfil prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 14th minute Ryszard Borcz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hubert Villa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Moise Vlădean had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Avram Petrin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Goranesti's supporters rose to their feet, but Avram Petrin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ysmael Marfil breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Goranesti's Hubert Villa got control of the ball when Moise Vlădean tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 28th minute Claudio Cina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hubert Villa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ryszard Borcz did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Hubert Villa 34 minutes into the match. The supporters of DINAMO booed when Goranesti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gigi Filip didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 38th minute, Bogdan Gherasim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Moise Vlădean hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. The supporters of DINAMO booed when Goranesti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gigi Filip didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Goranesti's Bogdan Gherasim in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye DINAMO's goalie prevented a goal. Goranesti's Hubert Villa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudio Cina in the 45th minute of play. In the 46th minute DINAMO were awarded a corner. Henric Casas went to the cornerflag to take it. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Claudio Cina made a kick off. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Goranesti's goalkeeper Hubert Villa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 57 minutes into the match, DINAMO's goal looked a bit too open when Bogdan Gherasim came free, but Ysmael Marfil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hubert Villa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moise Vlădean in the 61st minute of play. In the 61st minute, Moise Vlădean ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hubert Villa was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. 66 minutes into the match, Goranesti's goal looked a bit too open when Claudio Cina came free, but Hubert Villa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th minute of the match DINAMO got a corner. Goranesti's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Henric Casas ran over to the corner to take the kick. DINAMO's Henric Casas was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Hubert Villa in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 73 minutes of play, DINAMO's Moise Vlădean made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hubert Villa was left in no man's land by his defense there! 79 minutes into the match, DINAMO's Ryszard Borcz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hubert Villa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Claudio Cina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Claudio Cina in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hubert Villa saved Goranesti from getting behind. Hubert Villa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudio Cina in the 92nd minute of the match. After 92 minutes of play, DINAMO's Claudio Cina made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hubert Villa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Avram Petrin struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Ysmael Marfil didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Goranesti. In the 96th minute, Rareș Trifănucă hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Henric Casas was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 97th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. DINAMO's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
