In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s goalkeeper Andriy Lunin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 8 minutes into the match, SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s goal looked a bit too open when Marcinho Sabóia came free, but Andriy Lunin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of SC Freiburg 1904 e.V. booed when Merusca F&P - CIMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saltuk Askeroğlu in the 82nd minute of play forced Merusca F&P - CIMZ's goalkeeper Mauro-Facundo Buffon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 91 minutes into the match, Merusca F&P - CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Saltuk Askeroğlu came free, but Mauro-Facundo Buffon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Saltuk Askeroğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
