Geovani Linares made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Roque Aguilar sent off a good shot on target. Sporting Westmeerbeek's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Washington Andrade in the 4th minute. Roque Aguilar came free with the goalkeeper in the 11th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Geovani Linares could save by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pieter Degraef in the 13th minute of play forced Santos da Bahia Fc's goalkeeper Geovani Linares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alex Sarangapani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Geovani Linares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Santos da Bahia Fc's Cacá Schmidt got a free kick in the 17th minute. Artur Valle's late challenge caught a Sporting Westmeerbeek's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Artur Valle helped the player get up and apologised. Geovani Linares made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Roque Aguilar sent off a good shot on target. In the 26th minute of the match, Roque Aguilar got a very nice opportunity to score, but Geovani Linares was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Pieter Degraef fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geovani Linares having to interfere. In the 34th minute Alex Sarangapani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geovani Linares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pieter Degraef fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geovani Linares having to interfere. In the 41st minute, Sporting Westmeerbeek's Alex Sarangapani ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Geovani Linares. Geovani Linares yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. In the 44th minute, Dean Rutgeerts hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gilmar Sabóia was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Santos da Bahia Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fred Vaz to maneuver through the defense. Pieter Degraef fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geovani Linares having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Roque Aguilar put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Geovani Linares. In the 59th match minute, Santos da Bahia Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fiori Rosa to maneuver through the defense. In the 67th minute, Bart-Jan De Vaddere hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Matias Dimo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dinei Lara in the 68th minute of play. When Artur Valle was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 69 minutes had been played. A collision led to Santos da Bahia Fc getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Artur Valle hit a great ball. 72 minutes into the match, Sporting Westmeerbeek's Pieter Degraef sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Geovani Linares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Geovani Linares came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Sporting Westmeerbeek's Pieter Degraef. But to his dismay, Pieter Degraef quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Sporting Westmeerbeek made a substitution. Jacque De Brouwer replaced Pieter Degraef. Jacque De Brouwer struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Geovani Linares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sporting Westmeerbeek. Geovani Linares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roque Aguilar in the 81st minute of play. 82 minutes had been played when some careless play by Santos da Bahia Fc's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Washington Andrade was slow to take the kick. During this time Sporting Westmeerbeek's players had a chance to rest. Roque Aguilar scored 7-0 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Geovani Linares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Roque Aguilar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Geovani Linares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fred Vaz hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Santos da Bahia Fc defense, Jacque De Brouwer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Geovani Linares. The Santos da Bahia Fc fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Geovani Linares should have stopped the shot. Roque Aguilar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geovani Linares having to interfere. Sporting Westmeerbeek walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
