After 7 minutes, Patrice Pacio made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. AD Pontassolense's Marco Bessa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With an all-out effort, AD Pontassolense's Astor Guipuzkoa threw himself towards the right post 11 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Giuseppe Catarinense, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 12th minute of the match AD Pontassolense got a corner. Expedition Lubin's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Januário Domingos ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 12th match minute, AD Pontassolense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Salvador Fraga to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Patrice Pacio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marco Bessa was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. Astor Guipuzkoa made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Kevin Quintanilha sent off a good shot on target. Luis Ronaldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Astor Guipuzkoa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Januário Domingos in the 29th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rogério Bettencourt in the 36th minute of play forced Expedition Lubin's goalkeeper Astor Guipuzkoa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute Patrice Pacio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Bessa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 38th minute Expedition Lubin were awarded a corner. Lu Guo Guo went to the cornerflag to take it. When Expedition Lubin's Patrice Pacio in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye AD Pontassolense's goalie prevented a goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Yan Wei Gang was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute Giuseppe Catarinense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Astor Guipuzkoa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 54 minutes of play, Expedition Lubin's Teofil Zagrobelny made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marco Bessa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Marco Bessa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teofil Zagrobelny, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Marco Bessa came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Expedition Lubin's Yan Wei Gang. But to his dismay, Yan Wei Gang quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Expedition Lubin's Astor Guipuzkoa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Januário Domingos in the 60th minute of play. If Kevin Quintanilha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Giuseppe Catarinense's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Astor Guipuzkoa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. AD Pontassolense's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Januário Domingos in the 73rd minute. The corner led AD Pontassolense's Januário Domingos to fire away a dangerous shot which Astor Guipuzkoa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a rather tough play, AD Pontassolense's Rogério Bettencourt got a free kick in the 77th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Patrice Pacio got free with Marco Bessa in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teofil Zagrobelny in the 78th minute of play forced AD Pontassolense's goalkeeper Marco Bessa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 78 minutes into the game, Expedition Lubin's Teofil Zagrobelny nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marco Bessa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. 87 minutes into the match, Teofil Zagrobelny had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marco Bessa. AD Pontassolense's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Teofil Zagrobelny was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. With a little luck, AD Pontassolense's Marco Bessa got control of the ball when Teofil Zagrobelny tried to sneak it across the goal line. Expedition Lubin were awarded a corner in the 92th minute after AD Pontassolense's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lu Guo Guo took the corner. Expedition Lubin played a much better game than AD Pontassolense and deserved their victory. The AD Pontassolense players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
