A collision led to Cimone getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Piotr Misiewicz hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Silvestre Loi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carmine Di Rocco was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Nordine Ighil kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cimone's goalkeeper Carmine Di Rocco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Carmine Di Rocco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvestre Loi in the 43rd minute of the match. The Cimone players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SV Bad Harzburg were winning 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ennio Gervasi was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ferdinando Tomei in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacek Matuch saved SV Bad Harzburg from getting behind. When Ferdinando Tomei, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 96 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Jacek Matuch was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar.
