Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ozan Heybetli started the match with the kick off. If Lenny Winnepennincks had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ozan Heybetli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sixten Tunander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Shi Ming Sheng in the 9th minute of play. Sixten Tunander made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Shi Ming Sheng sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Muhammet Altın managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stiinta-Univ.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Muhammet Altın was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sixten Tunander breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 14 played minutes Stiinta-Univ. got a freekick which was hit by Vágner Vargas. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ozan Heybetli in the 15th minute of play forced Stiinta-Univ.'s goalkeeper Eulalio Urbasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sixten Tunander made an important save on a dangerous shot by Muhammet Altın in the 20th minute. Sixten Tunander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Shi Ming Sheng in the 25th minute of play. Sixten Tunander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shi Ming Sheng in the 29th minute of the match. 32 minutes into the match, FC Hammarby Sjöstad's Ozan Heybetli sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eulalio Urbasa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 36th minute Lenny Winnepennincks shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eulalio Urbasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 37th minute of the match FC Hammarby Sjöstad got a corner. Stiinta-Univ.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sarracino De la Rosa ran over to the corner to take the kick. Sixten Tunander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Shi Ming Sheng, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 47 minutes into the match, Stiinta-Univ.'s Shi Ming Sheng sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sixten Tunander narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 47 minutes into the game, Shi Ming Sheng cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Sixten Tunander was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Stiinta-Univ. made a substitution. Ivar Lindqvist replaced Muhammet Altın. Stiinta-Univ.'s Șerban Rușanu was substituted for Virgil Oargă. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Shi Ming Sheng was the one to do the kick off. Șerban Rușanu made in the 60th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Shi Ming Sheng immediately put the ball in play. FC Hammarby Sjöstad's Greger von Opel was substituted for Rafail Klenov. FC Hammarby Sjöstad's Staffan Arenius was substituted for Ciriaco Terciero. FC Hammarby Sjöstad's Sverker Byström quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Vágner Vargas, made in the 71st minute of the game. In the 73rd match minute, Stiinta-Univ. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vágner Vargas to maneuver through the defense. Eulalio Urbasa made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Ozan Heybetli sent off a good shot on target. After 77 minutes Stiinta-Univ.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ozan Heybetli who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Ozan Heybetli almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Stiinta-Univ.'s Eulalio Urbasa did a great save. After 77 played minutes FC Hammarby Sjöstad got a freekick which was hit by Leon Ferfecki. A collision led to Stiinta-Univ. getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Vágner Vargas hit a great ball. 87 minutes into the match, FC Hammarby Sjöstad's goal looked a bit too open when Shi Ming Sheng came free, but Sixten Tunander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shi Ming Sheng in the 88th minute of play forced FC Hammarby Sjöstad's goalkeeper Sixten Tunander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Stiinta-Univ. booed when FC Hammarby Sjöstad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustav Sigfridsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 93rd match minute, Stiinta-Univ. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vágner Vargas to maneuver through the defense. When the referee ended the match the Stiinta-Univ. players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
