But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Octavio Zapater couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Arvid Forssell took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Antônio Peres to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Devran Aktürk in the 58th minute of play forced Zorongo FC's goalkeeper Juan Egoitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juan Egoitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Fourcade in the 59th minute of play.
