The Żuki Gnojarze fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zacarias Transito should have stopped the shot. 15 minutes into the match, ContraVersão's goal looked a bit too open when Giovanny Van Wontergem came free, but Didi Tróia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zacarias Transito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Luís Batista, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Zacarias Transito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fausto de Mendonça, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind ContraVersão's goalkeeper Didi Tróia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 23rd minute Giovanny Van Wontergem shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Didi Tróia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes had been played when some careless play by ContraVersão's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Giovanny Van Wontergem was slow to take the kick. During this time Żuki Gnojarze's players had a chance to rest. Żuki Gnojarze's Giovanny Van Wontergem was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Didi Tróia in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. ContraVersão's Didi Tróia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save ContraVersão from getting a goal against them. Żuki Gnojarze's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Giovanny Van Wontergem in the 31st minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of ContraVersão's goalie and right to Seyhan Arısan. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. ContraVersão's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Zacarias Transito came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by ContraVersão's Elias Batista. But to his dismay, Elias Batista quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Giovanny Van Wontergem got free with Didi Tróia in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Żuki Gnojarze were awarded a corner in the 45th minute after ContraVersão's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Giovanny Van Wontergem took the corner. Żuki Gnojarze's Giovanny Van Wontergem was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Didi Tróia in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Didi Tróia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucky Reinders, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fausto de Mendonça stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 61 minutes into the game, Żuki Gnojarze's Giovanny Van Wontergem nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Didi Tróia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. In the 74th minute Pedro Luís Batista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zacarias Transito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 76th minute, Fausto de Mendonça left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ContraVersão fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. 79 minutes into the match, Żuki Gnojarze's Giovanny Van Wontergem sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Didi Tróia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 80 minutes ContraVersão's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Giovanny Van Wontergem who took care of the corner kick. Żuki Gnojarze's James Frankowski was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Didi Tróia in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Patrick Salkvist, 83 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 85 minutes into the match, Żuki Gnojarze's Giovanny Van Wontergem sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Didi Tróia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 87th minute Giovanny Van Wontergem shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Didi Tróia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Żuki Gnojarze's Lucky Reinders quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Patrick Salkvist, made in the 90th minute of the game. After 92 played minutes Żuki Gnojarze got a freekick which was hit by Kryspin Siedlecki. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. ContraVersão walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
