An unexpectedly hard shot by Eulalio Callejas in the 11th minute of play forced Estación Q.'s goalkeeper Arif Nihat Yıldıray to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arif Nihat Yıldıray showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eladio Ulloa in the 17th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Ballet Azul's Arif Nihat Yıldıray threw himself towards the right post 17 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Eladio Ulloa, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Anacleto Jory made in the 19th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Eriberto Iriberry immediately put the ball in play. After some careless play in the Ballet Azul defense, Andrzej Zapolski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of José Luis Chilavert. The Ballet Azul fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that José Luis Chilavert should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Ballet Azul's Eulalio Callejas got a free kick in the 23rd minute. In the 24th minute, Andrzej Zapolski made a precise shot to the right of José Luis Chilavert. Ballet Azul's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Esequiel Dohrmann kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Arif Nihat Yıldıray showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eladio Ulloa in the 38th minute of the match. Eladio Ulloa had several of the Estación Q.'s defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 40 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-2 score and a disappointed Arif Nihat Yıldıray as he didn't even see the shot coming. Leonel Sánchez's late challenge caught a Estación Q.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leonel Sánchez helped the player get up and apologised. José Luis Chilavert stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Andrzej Zapolski's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Andrzej Zapolski made a kick off. Arif Nihat Yıldıray took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eladio Ulloa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Ballet Azul booed when Estación Q. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Macit Serter didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ballet Azul made a substitution. Odín Enríquez replaced Santiago Cardenas. Macit Serter hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. After 58 played minutes, Ballet Azul's Leonel Sánchez shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Arif Nihat Yıldıray came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ballet Azul reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eladio Ulloa in the 61st minute of play forced Estación Q.'s goalkeeper Arif Nihat Yıldıray to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 70 minutes, Nils-Erik Kellman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Estación Q. and the Ballet Azul players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 70th minute, Nils-Erik Kellman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leonel Sánchez was slow to take the kick. During this time Ballet Azul's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Odín Enríquez got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Arif Nihat Yıldıray quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.
