Lokomotiv Plovdiv's Krasimir Mishovski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Lokomotiv Plovdiv from getting a goal against them. Dário Prada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Krasimir Mishovski having to interfere. The referee felt a red card was in order, 25 minutes into the game, when Jon Yost put in a rough tackle. Silas de Andrade showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Talal Oussalah, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Krasimir Mishovski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dário Prada went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. After 42 played minutes, Lokomotiv Plovdiv's Talal Oussalah shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Silas de Andrade came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lokomotiv Plovdiv reached it. 46 minutes into the match, Los Hornos's Dário Prada sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Krasimir Mishovski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Los Hornos's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Justino Amato in the 74th minute. Lokomotiv Plovdiv's Krasimir Mishovski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dário Prada in the 87th minute of play. Dário Prada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 94th minute, Dário Prada ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Krasimir Mishovski was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Los Hornos had won after a very even match.
